How to Look for Money
There are some misconceptions about scholarships and how to receive a scholarship. First off, Federal Financial Aid is NOT scholarship money. Scholarships are usually funds that have been donated for educational purposes and are tied to certain fields of study or are in association with certain groups. Some scholarships are given simply for being a high school graduate pursuing a post secondary degree while other scholarships require essays or portfolio presentations.
